I got this for administering olive oil to salads and pasta, and I'm very happy with it. I like that the darker glass reduces the rate of light induced oxidation, although only half filled to see how it goes. Pouring olive oil is fine, it pours well. The mister produces more of a spray because olive oil is quite viscous, but I don't mind that as it really can't be helped, and a spray still gives a more even application to the salad than just pouring it from the bottle. I think this is a great device for pouring and spraying oil. It would probably mist lighter oils just fine.
